Registered with the CIPC on 12 September 2020, in good standing ever since. We exist to move resources to where need is, inside South Africa and across its borders, and to prove afterwards that they arrived. Every front answers one question: will it still be standing in 2050? The year in our name is the region's own deadline. SADC adopted Vision 2050 the same year we registered.
Our mission
To fund practical work on four fronts: education, health, food and environment. To publish the giving model before every appeal and the results after it. To hold nothing in between.
Our vision
A Southern Africa that keeps its official promise: peaceful, inclusive, middle- to high-income by 2050, with every citizen in sustainable economic well-being, justice and freedom. Our work is the community chapter of that promise and of the African Union's Agenda 2063. A continent where no one is left behind a border of geography, poverty, illness or neglect.

Cardi was born and raised in Nelson Mandela Bay and has worked in tourism since 2001: guide, chef, hike leader, and from 2017 the founder of Ubuntu Spirit Adventure Tours in Cape Town, taking travellers across Africa's borders on the philosophy of ubuntu. Twenty-five years of crossing borders taught her the rule that now governs every appeal we run: the community sets the terms, and the money follows.
She chairs our current appeal for Red Rocks Initiative for Sustainable Development in Rwanda, an organisation she has worked with directly on their cultural festival platform. She answers our WhatsApp line personally.

Where we champion a partner, donors pay the partner directly. We state this before an appeal opens, and we do not touch the money.
